we all love mexicans in movies. there are a couple of them. and they’re superb.
10. diego luna
movie: dirty dancing 2: havana nights
well he’s supposed to be cuban i guess since the movie takes place in cuba, but diego is mexican i believe. the mexican swayze.
9. freddy rodriguez
movie: havoc
he shines in multiple roles but this one stood out the most to me, because it’s in this particular movie, that freddy is the most mexican. love this movie 4ever.
8. edward james olmos
movie: stand and deliver
he’s the inspirational teacher who betters his punky student, lou diamond phillips, a la high school high and dangerous minds. and he looks like a total hipster.
7. carlos
movie: freddy’s dead: the final nightmare
poor carlos wears a hearing aid and freddy uses that against him by scraping his glove against a chalkboard. OW!!!
6. george lopez
movie: ski patrol
he so silly tellin dem jokes as a ski patroller.
5. tommy chong
movie: half baked
the squirrel master is a way more dynamic character than his character in like up in smoke. amiright? *update: tommy chong not mexican. actually canadian. fyi.
4. danny trejo
movie: anaconda
i think he plays a poacher or something and gets dead by way of the killer anaconda. :(

here is where he plays a rapist! eesh trejo, working too hard for that oscar, meng. take a vacation.

he sells oranges on the street. no! now he’s the proud owner of a check for a million dollars. so he is KING. baller.

movie: freebie and the bean
in one of the first ever buddy cop movies, they’re like hey this will be a better duo if one is mexican. so hey let’s get the most mexicany actor around, alan arkin! hey, alan arkin, you be the mexican in the movie, ok? cool.
my favorite director as of this minute of today is steve miner. i love to make things, drink too much, angrily debate about horror movies, happily discuss full house, and buy home decor and clothing with animals on them. wolves and kittens mostly. i also love thousand island, the movie zapped (and the soundtrack), and keith david. and despite all this, i was really popular in high school!
